Développé began with a dancer’s desire to keep growing—and a family’s recognition that passion often extends far beyond the time available in class.
The beginning
A simple question between lessons.
The idea grew from watching a young competitive dancer balance school, long studio days, and an extraordinary desire to improve. The effort was never missing. What was missing was continuity: a way to carry thoughtful guidance into the moments when a teacher could not be standing beside her.
That question became a larger mission. What if technology could remember the dancer’s journey, understand movement with appropriate rigor, and offer encouragement or correction without turning practice into a scorecard?
Développé is being built to make individualized support more available while keeping the dancer—not the data—at the center of the experience.

The long view
From the next attempt to the whole journey.
The immediate goal is simple: help a dancer understand what may improve the next attempt. The longer vision is deeper—recognizing technique through natural language, remembering meaningful patterns, offering carefully timed cues, and eventually supporting choreography and routines as they unfold.
Every layer should make the experience feel simpler to the dancer, not more technical. The intelligence can become more sophisticated while the interaction remains calm, clear, and familiar.
